The Institute of Applied Informatics - IPrIn - is organized in a 1991 on the basis former "Gorsystemotechnica", which existed for want of Kiev Municipal Corporation since 1975.
Today Institute of Applied Informatics is open joint-stock company. It is the first in Ukraine research establishment in an sphere of computer science, which voluntary has left from under a state cover.
IPrIn has created and uses in practice the open system technology for design of information and analytical support of management, first of all for the regional systems. In this field the institute is leading scientific establishment in Ukraine.
